ABOUT THE OPEN VIBE PROJECT………
I have been a keen listener of jazz, funk and soul music for the past 46 years having first fallen in love with the sounds back in 1980.
My knowledge of the music was gained by listening to various soul music radio shows which have been broadcasted on many different stations over the years. Everybody from Robbie Vincent in the 80's and his sound of Sunday Night Show on Radio One, Richard Searling's Soul Sauce show on Jazz FM in the 90's right up to the present day and all the great Internet Shows on stations such as Solar and Starpoint Radio.
In the early 80's I was always fascinated by the production sounds of the late Quincy Jones and later in that decade by the wonderful sounds of producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
It was always a dream of mine to get into music production and now I can, with this new technology at our fingertips!
